Newtown and Lozells is a mile north of Birmingham City Centre. We are a diverse multi-cultural area and our membership reflects the vibrant, international nature of the area. We offer a warm welcome to all as we believe all are one in Christ. We also have halls and rooms for hire and. Our main Sunday services are at 10.30 am (St George’s) and 10.45 am (St Paul and St Silas). Enjoy your visit to our website and may the Lord bless you.

Jesus says, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35

Welcoming the Rev. Alison Cozens

It was a wonderful occasion on Sunday as we welcomed the Rev. Alison and her husband Peter to Newtown and Lozells. We were joined by many friends from St. Paul and St. Silas, from the Diocese of Birmingham, from other local churches, and from Rev. Alison's previous parishes in Leicester and Dunfermline. We gave a warm welcome to Alison, and together we offered our prayers for her ministry to come in this church and in this city.

Many thanks to all those who contributed to the day, including cleaning the church, setting up for lunch, organizing the catering and clearing up afterwards. Photos to follow on the frontpage and in the gallery!
