Newtown and Lozells is a mile north of Birmingham City Centre. We are a diverse multi-cultural area and our membership reflects the vibrant, international nature of the area. We offer a warm welcome to all as we believe all are one in Christ. We also have halls and rooms for hire and. Our main Sunday services are at 10.30 am (St George’s) and 10.45 am (St Paul and St Silas). Enjoy your visit to our website and may the Lord bless you.

Jesus says, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35

Epiphany - Showing God

Rev. Jemima joined us at St. George's on Sunday and led us in our Epiphany Communion. The story of the wise men following the star reminds us that Jesus' birth is about God showing himself to humanity - not just to the Jewish people, like Mary, Joseph and the shepherds, but to everyone throughout the world. As Rev. Jemima reminded us, that doesn't just mean the wise men but means us here in Newtown and in Birmingham. In obeying God and sharing God's love we are revealing Him to all peoples today.

PCC members are reminded that our next meeting is on Sunday 14th January, immediately following our 10.30am service.
