Jesus says, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35

The Authority of Jesus!

It's amazing that October is upon us already! The smell of autumn is in the air, and we can feel that first chill of approaching winter. But we have had some beautiful days this week, amazing oppprtunities to reflect on the beauty of God's creation.

Adeola led us in a wonderful service of prayer and worship on Sunday. She preached on Chapter 21 in the Gospel of Matthew (23-33), where Jesus faces a trick question from the Jewish religious leaders. Jesus avoids their trap, and then turns it into a story of obedience. Adeola reminded us of the importance of Jesus' authority in God, and how important it is that we recognize His authority over our lives.

We hope you're all having a good week and are looking forward to seeing you on Sunday!
